The Mission of the DRIVE SMART Weld County Coalition is to assist the citizens of Weld County Colorado to reduce the loss of life, injuries, and property damage as a result of transportation related crashes.
DRIVE SMART Weld County is a non-profit community coalition made up of members of law enforcement, business, insurance, media, concerned citizens, schools, fire departments, and health professionals working to reduce injuries and death from traffic crashes. DRIVE SMART Weld County strives to empower drivers and passengers to make wise choices through programs such as the Teen Driver Safety program, Parent of Teen Driver classes, Seatbelt checkpoints, and teen safety challenges. During the 2015/2016 school year over 2,200 students were served.
