DRIVE SMART Weld County is a non-profit community coalition made up of members of law enforcement, business, insurance, media, concerned citizens, schools, fire departments, and health professionals working to reduce injuries and death from traffic crashes. The main activities of DRIVE SMART Weld County are car seat checkpoints, P.A.R.T.Y. (Prevent Alcohol and Risk-related Trauma in Youth) programs for high schools and Tailgate the Safety Way, a community event. During the 2010/2011 school year over 1,500 students were served.

We also have crashed vehicles on trailers as educational displays about traffic safety.
